Principal

Ben has been developing real estate in New England since 2008. In that time, he has overseen the development of a multitude of projects, from small and mid-sized residential developments to large senior housing and mixed-use communities. 

From 2012-2022 Ben served as the principal developer at BlackRock Construction in South Burlington, Vermont. During his tenure, he personally oversaw the creation of over 1000 units of housing as well as numerous commercial and mixed-use projects. Leaving the position of President of Development and Commercial Construction in 2022, Ben continues to work on BlackRock projects while expanding through Greenfield Growth, to continue developing new opportunities, with new clients.

With background and experience in the areas of planning, permitting, design, engineering, legal and construction, Ben manages projects from land acquisition to completion. 

The addition of experience with complex deal structures, equity sourcing, business development and asset management rounds out the services that Greenfield Growth offers to its clients.

Ben spends time in Williston, Vermont and Naples, Florida with his wife Michelle and catches up with their 4 grown children as much as he can!
