Permitting is the most complicated piece of the development puzzle. It starts with local municipal planning which varies from town to town. Every municipality applies different criteria, methodology and design to their respective planning. Understanding how to navigate this component is the key to getting your vision in sync with municipal planning.
Following the municipal discretionary permits is often some level of state permitting, such as Vermont's Act 250. These process' focus on environmental impacts like wetlands, habitat assessments, and agricultural, in addition to development impacts such as traffic, wastewater, etc... Greenfield Growth clients can benefit from an understanding of all of these constraints from project inception, in order to minimize hurdles in the permitting process.
Once permits are issued, Greenfield Growth can assist in a variety of areas to keep your project on track to completion. With experience in architecture and design oversight as well as management of pre-construction services, we can assist in the evaluation of the metrics that can make or break the economics of a project. Management of the design is the key to delivering your vision at a budget that is in line to hit the desired economics of a project.
Additionally, Greenfield Growth can coordinate owners' representation during construction. These services include construction manager and general contractor evaluation, subcontractor evaluation, bid oversight and field coordination.

With 375 Units developed in the last 6 years, Senior Living is a core part of the business. Mr. Avery has expertise in the site evaluation, design and management of these communities. This includes extensive experience working with institutional partners and well as day-to-day management of facilities in which he holds an ownership interest in.
Greenfield development of new communities is an area where there is an opportunity to build from scratch with few constraints. Mr. Avery prides himself in assembling a team with expertise in the well thought out creation of new communities expanding the areas where we will live work and play for generations to come.

Mr. Avery brings community building elements to a project through the mindset that a multi-family building(s) is in fact a "neighborhood" and should contain the common elements that bring the residents together to interact in day-to-day life.
